Bee Swarm Removal
Non-destructive Bee Swarm Removal
non-destructive refers to the bee swarm, clipping a branch might occasionally be required.
Swarming usually occurs between September and December here in Victoria. I rescue, remove and relocate Swarms of European Honeybees, provided they are accessible and can be reached without high risk.
The sooner you report a swarm the better the chance of capturing it, before it enters into house walls or other cavities, difficult to remove, costing you more money. When the swarm is in an accessible location, capturing it is fairly easy and in most cases takes less than an hour.
My charges for a Bee Swarm Removal range from $50 to $80.
Charges are on a time and material basis and to keep the service sustainable.
The minimum time required for a Bee Swarm Removal ranges from 1/2 - 2 hours.
In most cases a swarm removal requires two visits. The first visit is to capture and transfer the bees into a transportable beehive (a box), this requires bright daylight. After a "settling in period" of a few hours, the second visit is to collect the hive and relocate it, which is done after sunset or before sunrise the next morning, when all bees are in the hive.

When I'm unable to answer the phone
When I am dressed up in protective clothing and working with bees I'm unable to answer the phone. It seems that all bee swarms are occurring about the same time of the day and when I'm working on one swarm I cannot answer the phone. If I have not returned your call within 20 minutes please assume I'm not available and contact someone else.
It can be helpful when you send me a text message, stating your location, the situation, how long the bees have been there, etc. with a photo of the swarm if possible.
