If you are located in Melbourne or nearby and want to buy bees,
you might have found the place where you can get them.

It is spring and for bees it is the time to multiply. One bee colony splits up in two, one half leaves the nest as a swarm, the other half stays in the hive.

With a captured swarm a new bee colony is raised in a hive. The colony gets supported with new frames, so they can build their new nest. The colony must also be observed to confirm the Queen is productive in her laying capacity to ensure the colony grows strong. When everything runs to plan the new colony is ready to be sold to a new owner.

I raise new bee colonies only in tune with nature, when the bees are preparing to multiply or have already multiplied on their own accord.

I do not forcefully raise new bee colonies to fill existing or anticipated demand. Therefore, the number of bee colonies I can supply is limited.
The Process:
  • When bees become available for sale they get posted in the table below.
  • You select the item you are interested in and fill in the Sales Enquiry form below.
  • I confirm availability and prompt you to either, make a deposit payment, or pick up your bees, or have them delivered.
  • If you are unable to collect or receive your bees within a week, as the colony is growing, they might have to be reallocated to someone else.
